
Bob (Robert) Bain, Chair
Bob Bain started his second term on the board of directors in 2006, having previously served for about 10 years and as the chairman of the Supervisory Committee since 1999. With 35 years experience at Purdue as a financial and computing manager, he is particularly interested in using technology to make credit union services more readily available, and to meet particular needs of Purdue Federal members.

Mark Moriarty, Vice Chair
A 22-year Purdue Federal member, Mark Moriarty first served on the Membership Services Committee and was elected to the board in 2008. He is associate professor of management at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue with expertise in marketing strategy, marketing engineering and forecasting. Moriarty earned his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from Purdue, his Master of Arts degree in economics from UCLA and his doctorate in industrial administration with a specialization in marketing from Purdue. Before joining Purdue as a faculty member in 1985, Moriarty taught at Northeastern University, the University of Iowa and the University of Kansas. He also served as faculty chair of the Krannert Professional Masters Program from 1998-2001.

Steve Brewer, Treasurer
Steve Brewer brings nearly 30 years of corporate finance experience to Purdue Federal. Most of his experience was gained with Pfizer, Corning and Great Lakes Chemical, where he was assistant treasurer. He also had previous entrepreneurial experience with several high-tech companies. Brewer is a chemical engineering graduate of Purdue University and has an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

Jayne Feathers, Secretary
Jayne Feathers received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management at the University of Georgia. In the past 25 years, Feathers has served as assistant controller of an oil and gas company and as president/CEO of a successful chamber of commerce. She brings significant experience from the private sector as well as unique experience from a membership-owned, business-focused organization.

Stephen Johnson, Director
A Purdue Federal member since high school, Stephen Johnson was elected to the board in 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Johnson has 12 years engineering experience with Delphi Automotive and Caterpillar, and recently completed a three-year term as treasurer on his church’s Leadership Team.

Christiane Keck, Director
Elected to Purdue Federal’s board in 2011, Christiane Keck previously participated for 11 years on the Purdue Federal Supervisory Committee, serving as its chair since 2006. In her teaching and administrative positions at Purdue University, Keck had the opportunity to manage diverse groups of people and make sound budgetary decisions. She also served as Co-Director for the Center for Internatinoal Business Education and Research (CIBER), which was created through a grant she co-authored and won in 1992 from the Department of Education in Washington, D.C.

Matthew Lerzak, Director
A member for nearly 25 years, Matthew Lerzak joined Purdue Federal while in high school and has continued membership even while living outside the Greater Lafayette area for more than 15 years. Lerzak earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue. He brings first-hand experience utilizing Purdue Federal products and services from outside the area, and he provides professional information technology expertise from the financial, manufacturing and retail sectors.
Steve Mogensen, Director
Steve Mogensen was elected to the board in 2012 and currently serves as managing director of the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Development at Purdue University. His more than 25 years of business experience has taught him it takes the effort of a team to realize the goals that ultimately deliver value, and he works with fellow board members and staff to deliver such value to all Purdue Federal members.

P. Greggory Williams, Director
Gregg Williams began his Purdue Federal service as a member of the Asset and Liability Committee and was elected to the board in 2008. In 2000, Williams earned his International Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He brings to Purdue Federal nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry where he has served as chief investment officer for several financial institutions.
