WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (July 11, 2019) Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) with The Brees Dream Foundation gifted $50,000 to the Purdue Athletes Life Success (PALS) program this past Tuesday as has been done in previous years.

To present the check to PALS Director Bill Harper was Purdue Federal President and CEO Bob Falk. Before the presentation, Falk spoke to a group of campers at the Purdue University Co-Rec. Dating back to 2007, Purdue Federal and The Brees Dream Foundation have jointly given $625,000 to PALS.

On Wednesday morning, eight campers were awarded new bicycles, courtesy of Purdue Federal, and Purdue Federal Vice President of Information Technology Matthew Lerzak and his wife, Paula. The selected recipients, four boys and four girls, were among the top campers in attendance who exemplified the four character pillars PALS emphasizes: respect, responsibility, caring and courage.

PALS provides a free summer camp available for children ages 8-14 whose family incomes are at or below federal poverty guidelines. Educational and sporting activities are offered to campers throughout the duration of the camp.

Purdue Federal and The Brees Dream Foundation are proud to provide continuing support to PALS and the Lafayette-West Lafayette community for years to come.
