Junia Gutierrez

Junia is the Program Director for Boiler Financial Track. Boiler Financial Track was started in 2019 with a collaboration between Purdue Student Life, Recreation and Wellness and Purdue Federal Credit Union. Her previous experience in providing education and guidance to students and families regarding financial aid, financial wellness and the scholarship process made for a smooth transition to run Purdue’s official financial wellness program. She received her MBA through Purdue University Global and has maintained membership with the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education and the National Financial Educators Council. She is passionate about providing students with the financial education they need to ensure a strong financial foundation that will last throughout their lives.

Meet the Interns

 

Jimena Lopez

Jimena Lopez is a senior double majoring in Financial Counseling and Planning and General Management. Additionally, she is minoring in Spanish for the Professions, working on the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate, and is a member of the Honors College. Jimena is a member of Purdue’s Financial Planning Association (FPA) and serves as the club’s Treasurer. She is from Fort Wayne, Indiana and enjoys working out, traveling, and giving back to her community. After graduation, she plans to work towards her CFP and work as a financial planner. She hopes to work with small business owners and wishes to promote financial wellness within the Hispanic community.

 

Dominic Nunziato

Dominic Nunziato is a junior majoring in Business Analytics and Information Management. He loves to help others and is passionate about financial wellness and data analytics. Dom’s passion about financial wellness emerged in high school where he collaborated with several other students in creating an Investment Club to learn and teach each other about financial issues and investment strategies. Dominic is from Boston, enjoys all sports, and is a member of the Sports Analytics Club. He plans to work toward combining his passions with a career in the professional sports business area.

 

Flor Sanchez

Flor Sanchez is a senior majoring in Finance and Data Analytics. She is actively involved on the board of Association of Latino Professional for American (ALPFA) and Purdue Student Fund (PSF). She is from Indianapolis, IN and hopes to work as a Market Trader for J.P. Morgan after graduation. 

 

Adam Wolf

Adam Wolf is a senior studying Financial Counseling and Planning. He served 6 years in the Army and is currently serving the Purdue Student Veterans Organization as the Treasurer. He loves meeting new people, going to state and national parks when he has free time with his family, and cooking. His plan is to work as a financial analyst for the government or private sector.
