The Financial Vine provides free financial education for Ivy Tech students, faculty and staff with the help of financial wellness experts from Purdue Federal Credit Union.
Our team is here to help Ivy Tech students at every life stage get on the right track by making plans to save and spend responsibly.
Bios:
Colleen Shepherd
Purdue Federal Credit Unions Community Outreach Director, Colleen Shepherd, has a passion for financial wellness and giving back to her community. Colleen joined the Credit Union team with 16 years of bank management experience, seven of those years she spent presenting financial wellness to small business owners, their employees and to local schools. Colleen is a local, graduating from Harrison High School and Purdue University. When Colleen isn’t out in the community helping people become more financially independent, she is spending most of her free time following and cheering on her 10 year old daughters busy sports schedule.
Jeff Harrison
Jeff has been with Purdue Federal Credit Union for 2 years and has spent the last year on our Financial Wellness team. He has a strong background in insurance and financial services as well as retail management. He enjoys working with our members to help them gain a comfortable sense of financial wellness to achieve their financial success. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family.
