Fraudulent Text Messages

Be aware of fraudulent text messages that impersonate Purdue Federal and ask you to click a link. See image below for an example:

If someone reaches out claiming to be from Purdue Federal Credit Union and you suspect it may be a scam, do not click any links or share your personal information with them. If you have clicked on the link and/or shared your personal information afterwards, please call us at 800.627.3328 to report it to our fraud team.

Purdue Federal Fraud Alert Text Messages

Legitimate fraud alert text messages from Purdue Federal will never ask you to click a link. Our actual fraud alert messages will contain text like:

FreeMsg: Purdue Fed 00000000.
Fraud Alert for acct ending 0000.
05Jul $1000 AMAZON. Is this Fraud?
