TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Referring Member will earn $50 cash bonus for each qualifying New Member (Referred) who opens a new membership with checking account, up to a maximum $500.  Referred must submit valid referral code during application process. Both Referring Member and Referred must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid social security number. Bonus is tax reportable on IRS Form 1099-INT.  Businesses and Purdue Federal Credit Union employees not eligible.  Member’s accounts must be in good standing: no loan delinquency or negative shares at time of referral and crediting of bonus, no account restrictions, and caused no loss(es) to Purdue Federal. We reserve the right to change or cancel the promotion without notice. Membership eligibility required. 

Referring Member: Earn $50 bonus for each qualifying New Member (Referred). $50 cash bonus will be credited to the checking account within 10 business days* after the Referred has opened their qualifying Purdue Federal membership. Referring Member may earn a maximum $500 in aggregate referral program(s) bonuses per calendar year. Cannot be combined with another account opening promotional offer. Must have a current Purdue Federal checking account and valid contact information on file including mailing address, email address and phone number. Must be enrolled in paperless statements at time of referral. Member’s account must be in good standing at time of referral and crediting of bonus. By using the valid referral code, you agree to release your name and membership status to the Referred. For privacy reasons, Referring Member will not be notified of the name of the qualifying referred New Member.  Limit 20 emails sent by Referring Member per rolling 30 days, limit 3 emails to one Referred email address per rolling 30 days.

New Member (Referred):  Membership eligibility and $5 Member Ownership Share required. $25 minimum opening deposit for checking. To qualify: must submit valid referral code during application process, enroll in paperless statements, make 10 member initiated point-of-sale debit card transactions, and have two or more direct deposits totaling $200 or more within 120 days of account opening.  Referred cannot have a current Purdue Federal membership or have closed a Purdue Federal membership within the last 12 months. Member’s account must be in good standing to receive bonus. $50 cash bonus credited to checking account within 10 business days* of qualification. If the checking account is closed within 6 months of account opening, the $50 bonus will be deducted from the account at closing. Cannot be combined with another account opening promotional offer.
