West Lafayette, Ind. — (August 28, 2024) Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) is pleased to announce the opening of its new branch location in the Purdue Memorial Union (PMU). To mark this significant milestone, Purdue Federal hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 20, in partnership with Greater Lafayette Commerce. This event brought together community members, along with Purdue Federal staff and partners to celebrate the inauguration of the beautiful, new facility.

The new branch replaces the previous PMU location and offers a substantially larger space of 2,000 square feet. Designed with service and convenience in mind, the branch features an open lobby, multiple offices, an employee break area, and an interactive teller machine. The dedicated office spaces will allow for private consultations on loans, mortgages, and other services. This expansion allows Purdue Federal to enhance its service offerings better than at their previous location and provides a more comfortable experience for its members all from the heart of Purdue University’s campus.

"The opening of our new PMU branch is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional service to our members," said Bob Falk, CEO at Purdue Federal Credit Union. "This new space allows us to better serve the Purdue community and offer a more welcoming environment where members can manage their financial needs." Purdue Federal has been located in PMU for 20 years and its team is excited to continue serving Purdue faculty, staff, students and families.

The new branch is located at 101 Grant St., Room 153 in West Lafayette. The branch will operate from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The new branch design was completed by KJG Architecture, Inc. and the construction was implemented by J.C. Ripberger Construction Corporation.
