Hammond, Ind. – (Sept. 22, 2026)
Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) is proud to announce the opening of a new ATM and interactive video teller at Purdue University Northwest (PNW), giving students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community a convenient way to manage their finances without leaving campus. Purdue Federal marked the milestone with a ribbon-cutting event at 2410 169th Street, Hammond, Ind.
The ATM includes video teller functionality, connecting members to a live representative on screen so they can complete many of the same transactions they'd handle at a branch, including deposits, withdrawals and transfers, right from campus. It's one more way Purdue Federal is bringing convenient financial solutions closer to our members.
"This is another step forward in our market expansion efforts in Northwest Indiana and in strengthening our partnership with PNW," said Darrick Weeks, president and CEO of Purdue Federal. "We're proud to bring convenient, full-service financial tools directly to the PNW community, and we look forward to growing alongside them."
"We are very pleased that Purdue Federal continues to expand our partnership by adding this resource for our students," said Kenneth C. Holford, PNW chancellor. "The convenience of an ATM on campus will help our busy students manage their finances with confidence while pursuing their education and engaging in university life."
The ATM and video teller are now open to the public at 2410 169th Street, Hammond, Ind., and members of the community are welcome to stop by and see the new technology firsthand.
This launch builds on Purdue Federal's ongoing commitment to expanding access to trusted financial services across the communities it serves. By partnering with PNW, Purdue Federal continues to invest in the people and institutions that make the region stronger.
