Getting Started
Access your accounts any time by logging into digital banking or our mobile app. Enrolling only takes a few minutes!
How to Register Your Personal Account
- Click Register located in the digital banking login box.
- Choose to register a Personal Account.
- Fill in the following:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Birth Date
- Digital Banking Access Code (This is the number on the last document you signed when applying for membership.)
- If everything looks right, the issue is probably with the Digital Banking Access Code. Please get in touch with us again so we can help resolve this for you.
- Confirm that the information is correct.
- Set up your username and password.
- Your username must be between 8 and 26 characters in length and may be made up of both letters and numerals. Your username is not case sensitive.
- Your password must be 12 to 32 characters long and must contain all of the following: a lowercase letter (a-z), an uppercase letter (A-Z), a digit (0-9), and a special character (~!@#$%^&*()\[\]{}<>_+-=/|\.,:;`'"?).
- Read the terms and conditions, check the box and click Accept.
How to Register Your Business Account
- Click Register located in the digital banking login box.
- Choose to register a Business Account.
- Fill in the following:
- Tax ID
- Digital Banking Access Code (This is the number on the last document you signed when applying for membership.)
- If everything looks right, the issue is probably with the Digital Banking Access Code. Please get in touch with us again so we can help resolve this for you.
- Confirm that the information is correct.
- Set up your username and password.

Paperless statements are convenient and secure. You don’t have to wait for statements to arrive in the mail, and you’ll have quick access in digital banking whenever you need them. You can view not only your statements, but also other important documents like tax forms when it’s time to file.
How to Enroll
- Click on View Statements & Documents under Accounts or under Profile.
- At the bottom of the page, confirm the notification email address.
- Click Enroll Now.
You'll get a notification at your chosen email address when a new statement or document is ready to view.
You can download our mobile app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. With the mobile app you can access your accounts just like on desktop to transfer funds, pay bills and other people, use mobile check deposit, activate a new card, view your account and routing numbers and more.

The Basics
New to digital banking? Here's what you need to start managing your accounts.
How to Reset Your Password
- Click Forgot Password located in the digital banking login box.
- Choose personal account or a business account.
- Fill in the required personal information.
- Click Submit.
- Complete the identity verification challenge.
- Enter and confirm new password.
- Click Set New Password.
Once your password has been changed, you will receive immediate access to your online accounts.
Navigate to Transfer Between Accounts under Pay & Transfer. Choose the accounts you’d like to transfer from and to, enter the amount, select a scheduling option and click Submit.
Transfer Limits
Transfers between external accounts have limits. The ACH transfer limits shown below apply to transfers scheduled to or from an account at another financial institution:
Incoming Transfers
- $50,000 daily
- $50,000 30-day rolling period*
Outgoing Transfers
- $5,000 daily
- $15,000 30-day rolling period*
For added security, two-factor authentication is required when you make outgoing transfers over $1,000. We’ll send a code to the email address or phone number listed (including international phone numbers) to verify your identity.
*A 30-day rolling period is any 30-day span and is not dependent on the month.
Add external accounts at other financial institutions, then edit and delete them as needed.
How to Add an External Account
- Under Pay & Transfer, go to Manage External Accounts.
- Click Add Account.
- Enter an Account Nickname, the institution's routing number and your account number.
- Select whether your account is savings or checking.
- Click Add Account.
- Two small deposits will be made to your external account within a few days. To complete verification, return to Manage External Accounts and verify the amount of the deposits.
How to Mobile Deposit a Check
- Tap Deposit a Check in the bottom menu, or select Mobile Check Deposit from the main menu.
- Enter the check amount.
- Choose which account you want to deposit the funds.
- Take a picture of the front and back of your check.
- Tap Next.
- Confirm the deposit and tap Submit.
Need to see the details of a previous mobile deposit? View a record of your mobile check deposits under View Mobile Deposit History.
Accounts
Find your account summaries, get everything you need for direct deposit, apply for a loan, add an external account and more.
Whether you’re signing up for direct deposit or establishing an electronic transfer, you can find the correct information by expanding the Account Details under a specific account and finding Account Number and Routing Number.
Direct Deposit Form
You can also download a PDF of direct deposit information for a particular deposit account.
- Expand the Account Details under an account.
- Click on Setup Direct Deposit.
- Download the PDF, and you're good to go!
You can order checks when you log in to digital banking on a desktop computer.
- Under Accounts, go to View Account Summary.
- Expand the Account Details for the account you wish to order checks for.
- Click Order Checks.
You can open the following accounts and loans in digital banking:
- Visa® Credit Card
- Vehicle Loan
- Personal Loan
- Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit
- Mortgage
- New Deposit Account
Plus, you can apply for someone else or apply for a minor membership. To open a new account, click on Accounts and then Open Deposit Account, Apply for Credit Card or Apply for a Loan.
Manage how your Share Certificate earns dividends and what happens at maturity.
Change Dividend Selection
Decide what happens to your dividends.
- Click the Edit icon next to the Share Certificate you want to manage.
- Select your Dividend Selection in the dropdown:
- Compound: Dividends are added to the Share Certificate's balance.
- Transfer Out: Dividends are transferred to your selected Transfer Account.
- Click Next.
- Check the box and click Save.
Change Maturity Selection
Decide what happens when your Share Certificate matures.
indicates that your Share Certificate will mature within the next 7 days. You can update your Maturity Selection until the Maturity Date. Please note that changes to your Maturity Selection will only impact future maturity. If your Share Certificate is in its grace period and you want to make immediate changes, please contact us.
- Click the Edit icon next to the Share Certificate you want to manage.
- Choose your Maturity Selection in the dropdown:
- Renew at Maturity: Renews for your selected Renewal Term.
- Close at Maturity: Closes and transfers funds to your selected Transfer Account.
- Click Next.
- Check the box and click Save.
Safeguard your checking and money market accounts from overdrafts by designating a backup source of funds. Choose from your savings account, another money market acount, a home equity line of credit (HELOC), or a Visa® credit card to ensure you're always covered.
Add Overdraft Protection
- Click Edit next to the account you want to manage.
- Selecting an account in the dropdown and click + Add Source.
- Change the order of source accounts with the arrows.
- Check the box and click Next.
- Review your changes and click Save.
Remove Overdraft Protection
- Click Edit next to the account you want to manage.
- Remove a single source by clicking the trash.
- Remove all sources to completely stop Overdraft Protection.
- Check the box and click Next.
- Review your changes and click Save.
On the View Statements & Documents page under Accounts or under Profile , view your monthly account statements, important updates and tax forms anytime.
Pay & Transfer
Transfer between Purdue Federal accounts or accounts at other financial institutions. You can pay bills, loans, non-members and members with just a few clicks.
Transferring funds between accounts is easy! Navigate to Transfer Between Accounts under Pay & Transfer. Choose the accounts you’d like to transfer from and to, enter the amount, select a scheduling option and click Submit.
Transfer Limits

Instantly and securely send money to other Purdue Federal members with no fees.23
How to Enroll
- Select Pay a Member under Pay & Transfer.
- Create a Pay a Member ID. This is what others will type in to send you money. For security, this can't be the same as your digital banking username.
- Choose which of your Purdue Federal Accounts your money will be drawn from and deposited into whenever you use Pay a Member. These are defaults, but you can change them anytime!
- Enroll! Once you’ve enrolled, you can send money to other Purdue Federal members.
How to Send or Request a Payment
- Enter the Pay a Member ID or email address of the user you’re sending money.
- Click Send Money or Request Payment.
- Choose your preferred account.
- Enter the amount you’re sending or requesting.
- Enter an optional description to know what the payment is for.
- Click Send Now or Request Now.

Add external accounts at other financial institutions, then edit and delete them as needed.

- Under Pay & Transfer, go to Manage External Accounts.
- Click Add Account.

View all your previous transfers, including the date, amount, status and more under. To view and manage future and recurring transfers, click Manage Payments & Transfers.
Mobile Check Deposit
Deposit a check into your account from anywhere through the Purdue Federal digital banking app.
How to Mobile Deposit a Check
- Tap Deposit a Check in the bottom menu, or select Mobile Check Deposit from the main menu.
- Enter the check amount.
- Choose which account you want to deposit the funds.
- Take a picture of the front and back of your check.
- Tap Next.
- Confirm the deposit and tap Submit.
Card Services
Manage your Purdue Federal Visa® Debit and Credit Cards right in digital banking. Activate a new card, redeem rewards, report a problem and more.
Adding your Purdue Federal debit or credit card to your phone's digital wallet is now easier than ever. From digital banking, you can add your card directly to your wallet in just a few taps.
How to Add a Card to Digital Wallet
- Go to Manage Cards in the app.
- Tap the card you want to add.
- Tap the Add to Wallet button.
- Follow the prompts to finish adding your card.
Note: You do not need to activate your card to add it to digital wallet. Your digital card will continue to work even if your physical card isn't activated yet. Only activate your physical card after it arrives in the mail and you have it with you.
Activating a Purdue Federal card is easy on desktop or the mobile app.
How to Activate a Card
- Go to Manage Cards.
- Select your card.
- Click the Activate Card button.
Note: Only activate your physical card after it arrives in the mail and you have it with you. Your digital card will continue to work even if your physical card isn't activated yet.
Go to Redeem Cash Rewards under Card Services.
How to Redeem Purdue Federal Visa® Credit Card Cash Rewards Points
- Use the slider to select the amount you’d like to redeem.
- Choose where you’d like the money to be deposited. Points can be redeemed as a cash deposit into your checking or savings account, or as a donation to the Purdue Alumni Association or John Purdue Club.
- Click Submit.
Note: You must earn at least 2,500 points before you can redeem points for cash rewards.
Let us know when and where you’re traveling so we can help keep your card secure.
How to Submit Travel Notifications
- Go to Submit Travel Notifications under Card Services.
- Select all cards you'll be traveling with.
- Select the dates you'll be traveling.
- Type in the state and or country destination(s) you'll be traveling to.
- Add the purpose of the trip.
- Click Add Trip.
Report a debit or credit card lost or stolen in digital banking with just a few clicks. This immediately blocks the card you’re reporting from any further use.
How to Report Your Card Lost or Stolen
- Go to Report Card Lost or Stolen under Card Services.
- Select each card to report.
- Choose how you want to receive your new card.
- Click Report.
When you see fraudulent activity, don’t wait to report it. Report debit or credit card fraud to immediately block that card from any further use.
How to Report Card Fraud
- Go to Report Card Fraud under Card Services.
- Select each card to report.
- Choose how you want to receive your new card.
- Click Report.
Additional Services
From viewing your monthly statement to signing up for alerts, we offer other services when you log in.
Requesting a Cashier's Check is simple! You can choose to print the check at any branch. Just pick it up within seven calendar days, otherwise we'll re-deposit it back into your account.
How to Print a Cashier's Check to a Branch
- Enter who the check should be paid to.
- Enter the check amount.
- Choose which account to withdraw the funds.
- Add an optional memo.
- Choose which branch to pick up the check.
- Click Next.
- Verify the check details and click Print Check!
Stop payments can be done on personal checks or checks sent via Pay a Bill.
How to Request a Stop Check Payment
- Select the account where the check was written.
- Enter one check number or range of check numbers.
- If you know it, enter the check amount.
- Select the reason.
- Click Submit.
Profile
Get assistance through secure messages, view your FICO® Score and manage your information under Profile.
Under Profile in digital banking, you can change your:
- Address
- Phone
- User ID
- Password
For added security, two-factor authentication is required when you make these changes. We’ll send a code to the email address or phone number listed (including international phone numbers) to verify your identity.
On the View Statements & Documents page under Profile or under Accounts, view your monthly account statements, important updates and tax forms anytime.
Primary members on Purdue Federal accounts who are eligible for a credit score can view their FICO® Score for free in digital banking.25
Get free online access to your FICO® Score, see the key factors that affected your FICO® Score, read educational content on FICO® Scores and financial health and more.
You can access this under Profile from the main menu or on the right side of the home page via a desktop computer.
Once you have registered your business account for digital banking, you can add secondary users to your account and assign them permissions.
Go to Manage Users under Settings in the main menu.
How to Manage Users
There are many options to manage users connected to your business account:

- To add a secondary user, click Add User.
- Edit entitlements: Customize entitlements for business needs based on user's role.
- Pencil: Edit general user information, including password resets and updating contact info.
- Trash Can: Delete user.
How to Reset Existing User's Password
- Click the Pencil next to the user requiring the reset.
- With their profile open, click Reset Password.
- Issue another temporary password and share it with your employee.
How to Add Users
- Click Add User, then fill out the required fields (*). The password issued will be temporary and the employee will be prompted to update it once they log in.
- Click Submit.
- Choose the user's role. These roles are 100% customizable.
- Full Access Employee: All access excluding managing Secondary Users.
- Limited Access: View account, Deposit and Stop Checks, Card Services (i.e. place travel notification, report fraud, etc.).
- Read-only: View account and deposit checks
- Full Access Owner: All access (similar to Admin User), including Secondary Users.
- Choose the user's entitlement package. Check the boxes the employee is entitled to do.
- Click Save and then Confirm to finalize your changes.
Settings
Get assistance through secure messages, view your FICO® Score and manage your information under Profile.
Enroll your devices in biometrics and log in to digital banking with your finger print or facial recognition.
You can also tap the Touch ID or Face ID link at the bottom of the sign in screen. Follow the prompts to enroll your device in Biometrics.
Digital banking is compatible with Quicken Direct Connect, which is a more secure way to automatically download your account data and match transactions to make budgeting easy.
Secure Messages
Communicate with our team via Secure Messages. Send a message any time and we’ll respond during our regular business hours. You can access this by clicking your name in the top right corner of the screen or in the main menu of the app.
