Bob Falk, President/CEO of Purdue Federal Credit Union (Purdue Federal) received the Indiana Credit Union League’s 2023 Professional Achievement Award. The award recognizes Indiana Credit Union Presidents/CEOs for their commitment to the credit union movement, being a leader within both their community and their credit union, and for exemplary performance and personal accomplishments. 

Along with the Indiana Credit Union League, Purdue Federal is proud to showcase Falk as the credit union’s influential leader. Falk was named Purdue Federal’s CEO in 2008. Since then, Falk continues to make a concerted effort to lead by example both day-to-day in the credit union, but also within the credit union movement at large, both inside and outside of Indiana. He serves on several League committees including Governmental affairs where he has been an active member for over 15 years. Along with two other individuals, Falk founded the League’s ignite initiative which provides a framework for professional development and collaboration. He also serves on high-profile national organizations which serve credit unions across the country such as CO-OP Financial Services where he is currently on the Board of Directors. Falk has also served on the board of Prime Alliance, The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, and CUNA’s Housing Subcommittee. 

Within the Greater Lafayette community, Falk continues to show commitment to serving his community through leadership, just as he does within the credit union. He held a position on the United Way of Greater Lafayette Board for held for six years, and he is also currently a 21-year member of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
